A photo history showing the construction of the range:
The first task was to widen the gateway so the
long wagons could drive in to deliver the pipes.
The first pipes started to arrive.
The pipes started to build up.
The top soil was removed.
A huge trench was excavated into the ground to keep the pipes level.
The first pipes were placed in position.
The remaining pipes were positioned.
Work began building the bullet catching end.
Down in a deep hole.
Re-inforced walls...
began to rise out of the ground.
The clubhouse.
The pipes joining to the shooting gallery.
Adding the roof.
Painting inside the clubhouse.
Boarding the ceiling in the clubhouse.
The finished clubhouse.
The pipes are covered and only the building at the bullet catching end is visable.
